“Costa Rican Art Masters’ Fair” is the name of the exhibit that will be showcasing close to 250 works from over 40 Costa Rican artists in the Gallery 11-12 in Plaza Itzkatzú, Escazú.

The exhibit will summarize over 100 years of Costa Rican art history. “We want to follow up in an activity that began in 1986 and that since then has had the goal of promoting art as part of the national identity through history”, said Mario Matarrita, director of the Gallery.

Emilio Span, Rafa Fernández, Fernando Carballo, Manuel de la Cruz, Fausto Pacheco, Margarita Bertheau, Jorge Gallardo, Enrique Echandi , and contemporary artists such as Jose Sancho, Domingo Ramos, Daniela Vargas, Carolina Guillermet, are just part of the list of artists whose work will be presented at the gallery.

Attendance to the event is free of charge; the exhibit will be open from August 24 to the 27 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
