Based on thousands of endorsements from previous travelers for the best places in the world for wildlife, Booking.com featured the top six destinations in the world to enjoy nature and relax, among them we find Copa de Arbol Beach and Rainforest Resort in Drake Bay, Osa Península, Puntarenas.

With its tropical climate and outstanding flora and fauna, Drake Bay in Costa Rica is an explorer’s dreamland and an ideal destination to educate yourself on the world’s wildlife.
Set on Drake Bay, the Copa De Arbol Beach & Rainforest Resort is an eco-friendly resort accessible by boat. This beautiful gem has a jungle setting surrounded by wildlife and tropical plants. Each cabin is constructed from recycled teak, cypress and Melina wood and features a terrace looking at the surrounding rainforest.

This hotel opened its doors twenty years ago with just 4 rooms; today it has 10 luxury cabins, including four 2-person cabins and six cabins that can accommodate 4 -5 people.

Amazing ocean and rainforest views, 4 level infinity pool and jacuzzi, bar and restaurant, complete a wonderful experience that combines the best service with the most amazing surroundings.

Those who helped on the construction and establishing of the hotel are still part of Copa de Arbol, for instance the chief carpenter is the person in charge of the horseback riding tours, a former hunter is today the person in charge of the birdwatching tours, and a fisherman is who takes visitors out for dolphin and whale watching tours.

This area of the country is known for its untouched nature and large biodiversity, a wide number of tours are available, but in order to visit the Corcovado National Park a reservation must be done at least 6 weeks in advance, the same goes for visits to Caño Island.
