Down at WLTG 97 and a bit a zany cast of characters are coming together to put on a traditional Live Radio Christmas Show.
Unfortunately times are hard and their sponsors, Claus and Kringle, makers of an organic green “high octane” fuel called Reindeer Nuggets, —
” … They’re bigger than diamonds, better than coal!”
—- are threatening to close the account if the show does not meet their “high octane“ standards.
It promises to be a lot of fun, with carols old and new, Christmas hints and recipes, stories and skits and of course all the latest seasonal news.
The cast of Little Theatre Group’s Christmas Show are working hard to ensure that this year’s presentation will make this festive season one to remember. As they have in years past, the group are using their Christmas production to support two of their favourite charities.
Open Arms Costa Rica strive to provide Christmas for orphans and abandoned children here in Costa Rica
Audience members are being asked to bring a toy to the theatre when they come, wrapped and labeled with suitable age group and gender. A representative will be there to collect these gifts and pass them on to those who would not otherwise have a Christmas at all.
The group will be donating the proceeds from their final performance on Sunday Dec 2nd to the Angel Of Love Foundation Tom and Norman Home, which has been one of their charitable enterprises for several years now. This facility located in Guapiles provides shelter and much needed care to abandoned adults and seniors and is totally reliant on charitable donations.
The box office opens on November 12th so be sure to get your tickets early as this show will run for one weekend only.
