The Expomovil 2018, Costa Rica’s main car expo will gather the main car and motorcycle agencies as well as accessory stores and other services in the automotive business.
The fair, organized by the Association of Importers of Vehicles and Machinary (AIVEMA) will take place from March 8 through March 18 at the Pedregal Event Center in San Antonio de Belen, Heredia.
Agencies will present their newest models, the expo usually offers discounted prices and attractive financing options. This edition will have the presence of 24 agencies.
Several banks will also be presenting their options, among them Scotiabank, BAC, Banco Nacional, Davivienda and BCR, while some car agencies also have their own financing agencies.
According to AIVEMA the distribution of the stands will be similar to last year’s which took on a total of 9000 square meters (96,875 square feet).
Electric cars such as the Nissan Leaf, the BMW i3 and Hyundai IONIQ will be part of the attractions in this edition, green vehicles that benefit from the tax exemptions included in the recently approved Electric Transportation bill.
Jaguar also will present its second premium SUV, the Jaguar E-Pace an impressive smart vehicle that features Configurable Dynamics that allows drivers to personalize the engine and the transmission and Jaguar drive control which allows four driving modes: normal, eco, dynamic and rain/ice/snow. The car is available in version S and Prestige and an exclusive First edition launch. This luxury SUV is available in 11 different colors and has a cost of $68,500.00
Tickets have a cost of 3000 colones (approximately $5.28) and for parking they will charge 4,000 colones (approx. $7.00).

Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
