Nat Geo announced the second season of its digital series Untamed with Filipe DeAndrade; the filmmaker and his colleagues and friends McKenzie Barney and Brian Moghari explore the wildlife of Costa Rica and will bring the audience closer to the many wonders the country has to offer.

The filming of Untamed in Costa Rica began the first week of July and will extend for six months, the second season of the show will have ten episodes and will air in November in National Geographic and Nat Geo Wild.

DeAndrade and the team filmed in Cerro de la Muerte were they stayed at Paraiso Quetzal Lodge according to his Facebook posts; the also made a stop at Ostional Wildlife Refuge in Guanacaste to witness the arribada phenomenon (sea turtle nesting). They will be visiting locations in the Osa Peninsula and the Santa Rosa National Park in Guanacaste.

Filipe DeAndrade is a Brazilian American photographer, filmmaker and the producer and star of the Untamed web series along with McKenzie Barney and Brian Moghari; the three of them form the company Comfort Theory. The show first opened in Nat Geo Wild’s You Tube Channel and had a successful first season.
