Applications for the Costa Rica Founder Institute Summer Semester 2015 will be accepted until August 30th. The Founder Institute is the world’s largest early-stage startup accelerator. Over 1,550 technology founders have already launched companies with the help of the Institute’s company-building curriculum, expert feedback, and peer support.

Anybody in Costa Rica who is passionate about building a technology company is welcome to apply: idea or no idea, full-time job or unemployed, young or old, male or female, experienced in business or straight out of school. The Founder Institute supports a wide range of technology industries: including digital media, biotech, cleantech, e-commerce, advertising, consumer electronics, software, and more.

All applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. You can apply here; once you complete the online application, you will be invited to take a Predictive Admissions Test, which is the Institute’s main criteria for evaluating applicants. The test takes about 45 minutes, and you will have a few days to complete it. Developed by leading social scientists in conjunction with the Founder Institute, this test is continually calibrated to identify entrepreneurial personality traits.

All applicants in Costa Rica are asked to contribute a $50 USD fee to help cover the administration costs of the Predictive Admissions Test. Applications are reviewed as soon as they are received and by no later than on 2015-08-30, and you will hear from the Institute no later than 2015-09-15. There is no obligation.

The Founder Institute is the world’s largest entrepreneur training and startup launch program, helping aspiring founders across the globe build enduring technology companies. This four-month, part-time program, allows entrepreneurs to “learn by doing” and launch a company through structured training courses, practical business-building assignments, and expert feedback. Applicants are not required to quit their day jobs to participate.

The Founder Institute curriculum was rigorously built using Silicon Valley best practices, and each training course is led by members of the Founder Institute’s worldwide network of over 4,200 entrepreneur Mentors, that are founders themselves. The curriculum is all action, and no theory.

Notable graduates include companies such as Zirtual, PetHub, udemy, and ZipMark.
