Internet service provided RACSA, subsidiary of ICE, informed that they will be performing maintenance work of the fiber optic submarine telecommunications cable system Maya-1 this weekend, March 1st through March 3, these works will take Maya-1 submarine cable out of operation.

Previsions are being taken by using outbound Internet capacity through other Submarine Cable options so that affectation is the minimum possible, for this reason we inform of the days and hours of the related maintenance works:

From 20 hours of March 1st through 04 hours of March 2nd: International traffic migration work to backup options.
From 20 hours of March 2nd through 04 hours of March 3rd: Electric reconfiguration of the tele-feed system of Maya-1 Submarine Cable.
From 20 hours of March 3rd through 10 hours of March 3rd: Works of reestablishment of international traffic to the normal operations links.

During the mentioned time frames it is expected that there can be affectation due to service interruptions or increase in the latency of the internet service.
