Kololo Ramen – Korean Casual Dining, opened its doors in Plaza Tempo, Escazu, Costa Rica after an investment of close to $200,000.00.

This new option offers a variety of the famous noodle soup with delicious broth and a combination of different ingredients, but the menu also has plenty of other dishes, including gluten free alternatives and vegetarian options. Jjajang Myeon (noodle dish with thick black bean sauce), Kimchi fried rice, Bibimpap (mixed rice with meat and vegetables), Donkatsu (breaded pork chops), and Japchae (sweet potato noodles with beef and vegetables), are just some of the classic dishes of the Korean cuisine that you can find in this restaurant that uses natural ingredients.

The restaurant offers a unique and modern space, designed by Sofia Interiorismo, “We needed to create a space that would look good in conjunction with the kitchen concept , and that’s why we opted for yellow, neutral, warm tones, with details in black”, explained Belen Gonzalez from Sofia Interiorismo in an interview with Made Community. The decoration includes handmade hanging lamps, and frames with Korean motives.

Kololo Ramen opens Monday through Tursday from noon through 3:30 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from noon to 10:30 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
