With all of the news about the health crisis in the United States and other countries around the world, people are becoming more aware about the dangers of consuming excess sugar, chemicals and other harmful food additives.

Eating clean and simple foods at home is a good way to avoid encountering these dining pitfalls, however sometimes it is nice to enjoy a meal outside of the home.

The people of San Ramon and the surrounding communities are finally being offered a healthier option for eating out. Le Organico, a locally owned restaurant is now open in San Ramon central (125 m west of the post office), and is offering simple, healthy and delicious options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

“The food served at Le Organico is presented in a gourmet fashion and is real, clean, healthy food” says Chef and owner Johanne Sancho. “Our goal is to provide ticos, expats and tourists alike with new flavors and a fresher option, along with excellent customer service. Many of our customers have told us that they are excited to have somewhere they can eat and not worry about all of the added MSG and other chemicals that have made them sick in the past at other restaurants. A lot of people in our area haven’t been able to eat outside of the home in months or years without feeling sick and low in energy afterwards.”

Le Organico makes all of their breads and Italian style pastas in-house, as well as their impressive array of delectable desserts. The lunch menu boasts a wide selection of salads including a superfood salad with many disease preventing ingredients. Their hamburgers are made with a patty created to order with freshly ground churrasco and their paninis are quickly becoming a lunchtime favorite.

Dinner time at Le Organico provides a special ambiance that is perfect for a relaxing night out with the family or that special someone. Fun and creative lighting and decoration make this new restaurant a unique place to enjoy an evening out. The menu in the evening offers appetizers, main courses and desserts. The Mediterranean ceviche has been a hit among all that have tried it and the Tiramisu has had people from at least three different countries saying it is the best they have ever had.

Le Organico also offers special events on a monthly basis. The first of which is a traditional Thanksgiving dinner on November 22 at 6:30pm. The cost is $25 per person and includes 3 courses and a glass of organic wine. Anyone interested in enjoying a turkey dinner with all of the fixings is encouraged to contact the restaurant to make a reservation. There is limited seating available for this event.
