Love him or hate him President Donald Trump’s popularity is on the rise with approval ratings topping 50-percent for the first time since he took office 16-months ago, according to Real Clear Politics.

Rasmussen Reports Polling has President Trump’s approval rating at 51-percent with 49-percent disapproval. This is a first. Reuters/Ipsos Polling has the president tied at 49-percent approval/disapproval. There is no doubt that President Trump’s popularity is trending upward as the United States of America benefits from a new 3.9-percent unemployment rate – the lowest in 18 years. Not to mention that millions of Americans are seeing paychecks on the rise due to President Trump’s passage of new tax cuts.

Apparently, President Trump’s growing support does not care about this silly, on-going media coverage of the blonde porn star and her alleged one-night fling with a private Donald Trump in 2006. Nor do they care about this never-ending “nothing burger” of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump/Russia campaign collusion that began soon after Trump took office that has produced ZERO evidence against the president. Calls for Mueller or someone else to end his probe are growing by the day.

It would be delusional to think that liberal Democrats running for office in the upcoming mid-term national elections are connecting with American voters from coast-to-coast. President Trump is the one connecting with voters in a way not seen since former President Ronald Reagan was first elected in 1980 and then reelected four years later.

More and more Americans are rejecting open borders, rejecting high tax states, rejecting the concept of sanctuary cities and states, and rejecting such nonsense as allowing imprisoned felons the right to vote as in New York. The liberal Democrats are now trying to push through laws on the state and national level to lower the voting age to 16 because they see their political base shrinking like a violet in the hot sun.

By many indications the American-American and Hispanic communities are beginning to embrace the other side of the isle, distancing themselves from liberal policies that have done little to nothing to help the specific needs of their respective communities. Inner city America, mostly controlled by Democrats, is in tatters. The streets are full of homeless men, women and children – as in California cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles with sidewalk shanties stretching for miles that get little to no attention in mainstream media news reports.

In Baltimore, for instance, the city council there last week voted to provide legal financial aid — in the hundreds of thousands of dollars – to illegal immigrants facing deportation while their schools are without heat, while their murder and crime rates rank among the highest in the nation.

The recent caravan of Central Americans — that arrived to the Mexico/USA border in Tijuana — are being allowed to file for amnesty because of weak immigration laws created by liberal Democratic states that are constantly criticized by President Trump while he continues his fight to build a border wall from Texas to the Pacific Ocean. According to news reports, The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is fighting all of the amnesty applications and their long-term fate remains unknown.

Last week also saw U.S. House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) boast about winning back the U.S. House of Representatives from the Republicans in November. She also said she looked forward to running again for Speaker of the House. Her counterpart in the U.S. Senate – Senate Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is saying much the same things. These days Pelosi and Schumer only connect with the anti-Trump, far out in left field most liberal of the liberals. They both are increasingly being seen — even by their own party — as worn-out politicians worthy of retirement not reelection. Each time these two open their mouths they become more ridiculous and extreme.

The Democrats have no leadership. They still don’t have a unifying message except obstruct President Trump at every turn. The things the American voter cares about the Democrats are blatantly ignoring. If they think America is going to turn back to the left rejecting a booming economy, strong stock market, lower taxes and a possible negotiated end to the seven-decades-old Korean War — think again.
