A new venue to enjoy concerts, live shows and even boxing or MMA events in Costa Rica is now available.

Next to the Children’s Museum in downtown San Jose, a new “natural” amphitheater was created with capacity for 4000 people and parking for 600 cars.

To build this outdoor venue they took advantage of a steep mountain and then built the natural bleachers in a semi-circle style.

The investment made was of 79 million colones (approximately U.S. $137,460.00) and it will be inaugurated this February 14 with a concert for Valentine’s Day with Costa Rican band Malpais at 8 p.m. For this event they have made available three locations, natural bleachers for 10 thousand colones, floor location for the same price and numbered seating for 15 thousand colones.
