Located in the heart of Guachipelin Escazu very close to Multiplaza, Pura Vida Dog is 30 seconds from the highway, very convenient when you are on the way to the international airport or downtown San Jose for business.

Our property features 3 large separate yards all including private self enclosed kennels, for cozy sleeping comfort at night.

We will walk your dog, groom him if desired, feed him based upon your direction, and generally welcome your dog into our home like he is a member of our own family.

When we moved to Costa Rica 2 years ago we brought our dog with us and since moving here we have adopted 2 street dogs, that we have saved from health issues, getting them fixed and treated with a quality local veterinarian in Escazu.

Your dog will enjoy spending time with our dogs to play, or if you prefer we can keep your dog separated, this is totally your decision. We will do our best to emulate the exact enjoyment experience for your dog that you would like us to follow, and simulate an “at home” experience every time he comes to stay with Pura Vida Dog.
