R.A.W. tours is excited to announce an updated line-up of 5 project options for volunteers to come participate in for the Fall / Winter sessions of 2012 and the beginning of 2013. R.A.W. Tours’ Operations Director, Kattya Lomel, states “We have received great feedback from both participating students and the communities in San Marcos de Tarrazu whom have been a part of our Fair Trade Coffee Project; so we wanted to broaden our impact and reach by addressing other environmental and educational issues within more Costa Rican communities.”

R.A.W.’s updated project options consist of an Eco and Sustainable Tourism Project in Playas del Coco, Sea Turtle Preservation in both Tortuguero and Ostional, Rain Forest Conservation in Sarapiqui, and the Fair Trade Coffee Initiative in San Marcos de Tarrazu.

“We have done some amazing work opening the hearts of university students as well as the Costa Rican communities we serve; but we want to continue to improve upon our project options, to attract more students on alternative breaks and other groups or individuals whom are looking for a life changing experience and a meaningful way to contribute and make a difference in Costa Rica”, states Kattya Lomel.
