Socialism: The Face of the 2020 Presidential Election

Declared presidential candidate United States Sen. Kamala Harris, 54, a Democrat from liberal entrenched San Francisco, is not talking about this and neither is mainstream media much, but former two-term San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown is talking and his words paint a dark picture of Harris’ unbridled ambition in her rise in California politics.

In Brown’s weekly column — published Jan. 26 in the San Francisco Chronicle — he admits to having a lengthy extramarital affair with Harris back in the mid-1990s and appointing her to key commissions after she graduated from law school on her way to become California’s Attorney General in 2010, an elected position she held until her election to the U.S. Senate in 2017.

Brown, now 84, is 32-years older than Harris. “Sure, I dated Kamala Harris. So what?” says Brown.

On Sunday, Harris kicked of her 2020 presidential campaign in her hometown of Oakland before a packed outdoor venue with another 12,000 supporters that could not get in. It sounded and looked just like a Trump rally with tons of local support.

Harris told 20,000 cheering enthusiastic supporters she intends to fight for “Medicare for all” or universal healthcare plus free public education through college. That is typical progressive-socialist-liberal thinking in full bloom.

Reading Brown’s account of his relationship with Harris one can only conclude that Harris used her illicit affair with Brown to further her career in California politics and now she wants to claw her way to the presidency. Brown goes on to say he supports her ‘Harris for President’ campaign and the two remain friends to this day.

Brown, meanwhile, remains one of the most powerful behind-the-scenes Democratic leaders right in there with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), U.S. Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA), U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and former President Obama. These people are so liberal they make conservative’s heads spin and eyes roll back.

Pelosi, Feinstein, Waters, Obama and mainstream media know all about the old affair between Brown and Harris and his obvious favoritism shown to Harris that did propel her political career, but they couldn’t care less because they are all looking the other way just the same as Trump supporters don’t give a hoot about the president’s old affairs.

When the smelly shoe is on the other foot it still stinks. Harris is just another career politician that if elected would trash the United States of America just like California is trashed now with the highest taxes in the nation along with liberal New York, the highest property taxes and the highest number of homeless in the nation. Individuals and businesses are fleeing California and New York seeking asylum from delusional Democrats screaming socialist propaganda that sounds good on the surface but there are no successful socialist countries anywhere socialism has taken hold. The latest socialist country to implode is Venezuela.

Socialism — as a form of government — does not work, but liberal politicians keep trying to repackage socialism and give it a fresh face, but a pig with misty-blue eye shadow, red lipstick and a smile is still a pig. Anyone for a spicy pulled-pork sandwich smothered in tangy sauce – then vote for Harris.
