–Softline International Group continues its expansion in Latin America with the opening of its headquarters in Costa Rica for Central America.

The guests were received by a video about the essence of Softline and its core business values. The LATAM Emerging Business Director, Richard Poore, gave a tremendous speech about how to be competitive through implementation of modern IT technologies, and how nowadays company cannot be effective without IT technologies implementation. Following the explanation of Poore, about how is opening a company in Latin America in less than a hundred days, the guests had the pleasure to watch Mr. Igor Petlyakov, Softline LATAM & EMEA Vice President, through a video to introduce the company and explain why Softline is now in Costa Rica.

After that, Mr. Richard Poore introduced Softline Costa Rica General Manager, Mrs. Melí Figueres, who introduced the twelve members of the team not only person by person, but also with great family pictures of each one. The most exiting speech was from the Country General Manager of Microsoft, Alex Fernández, who talked about the “good relations with Softline and the important role that the company is coming to play”. He was excited about the importance of achieving all the commercial goals, and he demonstrated his good relation with all the members of the team and told that he was absolutely convince about the convenience of the opening of Softline in Costa Rica as one of the best Large Account Reseller for them.

IT Managers, Press, Lawyers, Politicians, and every participant of the ceremony commented the great speeches. They also keep talking about the services that Softline Costa Rica will be offering in the country, the full spectrum of IT services: technical and legal support, training and consulting; implementation of projects on virtualization, security, CAD/GIS, CRM and ERP solutions; cloud computing solutions and Software as a service (SaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) products.

Softline International Group is in a process of expansion in the region and bet that the office in Costa Rica will become a hub for Central America and the Caribbean. The expansion process will continue through Panama, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Ecuador, in the short term. Then he plans to open operations in Chile, Mexico and Brazil.
