Southwest Airlines inaugurated this Friday, October 5th its ticket office in Costa Rica, located 250 meters west of the National Stadium, Rohrmoser Boulevard , Grandville Plaza.

This is a historical event for Southwest since it’s the first and only ticket office they have in the worl. The event had the presence of the Minister of Tourism, Amalia Revelo and the U.S. Ambassador to Costa Ria, Sharon Day.

The ticket office is open from Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Now you can buy tickets through Southwest to travel to the United States with low rates, two handbags included and changes with no penalty”, commented Oscar Castillo Kelso, Representative of Southwest in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica was the first Central American destination for Southwest and it offers flights connecting Costa Rica to Fort Lauderdale, Houston and Baltimore.
