Once again the platform TEDxPuraVida “Ideas worth spreading”, will bring plenty of motivating and inspiring conferences as well as new ideas to the Coca Cola Amphitheater at Parque Viva from March 1st to March 3rd.

This year’s edition will involve the three versions of this program, the TEDxPuraVidaED (education), TEDxPuraVida and TEDxPuraVidaJoven, one each day. The schedule was modified to help the attending public avoid hours of heavy traffic, the different conferences will begin at 1:30 p.m. and are scheduled to conclude by 8:30 p.m.

Educators, engineers, doctors, neuro-scientists, computer experts, architects, entrepreneurs, economists, lawyers, artists, among many others, are part of the panel of national and international speakers that will be participating in the event.

The three events have taken place separately in previous years, except for last year when TEDxPuraVida and TEDxPuraVidaJoven had back to back presentations.

The TEDxPuraVidaED was last organized in 2012 and is now once again part of the agenda due to the interest of the Ministry of Public Education.

It seeks to improve and innovate in education, because the education is not changing at the rhythm in which the world is changing”, explained Roberto Sasso, organizer of the events.

One of the conferences that will be part of the TEDxPuraVidaEd is titled “Early Financial Education” by Gerardo Corrales, in this conference Corrales will talk about the importance of teaching children about finances since early in their lives, to give future adults a better quality of life.

The TEDxPuraVidaJoven is focused on young people that are still in the search of their calling and the road they want to follow in life.

Some of the conferences will be:
Innovative Nutrition” by Nutritionist Donald Vega
“Regenerating through stem cells” by Orthopedic Pediatrician Enrique Testart from Chile
“Virtual Reality” by Cathy Hackl
