Los Angeles, California-based Korn Ferry International, a leading global human resources strategy consulting firm, announced the opening of operations in Costa Rica with offices at Avenida Escazú, a posh commercial center in the western San José suburb of Escazú.

The head-hunting multinational, which has grown through various mergers since its founding in 1969, now has more than 7,000 employees working across the world in 86 offices in 47 countries. They provides services for clients in the public, private and non-profit sectors in all industries.

The establishment of an office in Costa Rica is part of the company’s expansion in Costa Rica and Central America, about which details will be revealed at a cocktail party this week at their Avenida Escazú digs on the 6th floor of the Lexus Tower.

The company is comprised of Korn Ferry Executive Search – their headhunting branch; Korn Ferry Futurestep – a digital resource for people seeking employment in tech firms that was established in 1988; and the Korn Ferry Hay Group – which was borne out of an acquisition in 2015 and provides global management consultancy.

Korn Ferry began seeking bilingual staff for its Costa Rica office in September, and now announces the imminent opening of their operations. Previously the company covered the region from its base in Mexico City, which is still in operation.

According to the company website, Korn Ferry International helps, “leaders, organizations and societies succeed by releasing the full power and potential of people.”

Costa Rica continues to be a magnet for multinationals to set up regional offices.
